Yes, with proper training (only a 4 hour course.) An instructor course also available (takes 2 days)

What is it made of?
Tough Cloth Body, Webbing Straps, and Velcro strapping.

Is it heavy?
No, weighs Less than 1 pound.

Is it machine washable?
Yes.

Is it dangerous?
Not when properly used by trained individual. It has never been the subject of any litigation.
